About me

My interest into the benefits of therapy started some time ago when I successfully managed to overcome a phobia.

This ignited my curiosity into hypnosis and unconsciousness. Which led me to further my interest and knowledge by studying psychology and clinical hypnotherapy, gaining a BSc in Psychology and a PG Dip in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

In parallel to this I have also successfully achieved a series of ITEC diplomas and expanded my approach by including massage and aromatherapy.

Recently I completed a PG Cert in Couples and Individuals Psychodynamic Relationship Counselling at The Tavistock Relationships. I intend to continue my journey to train as a psychotherapist, but at present I have decided to take a break from my psychodynamic studies to focus on my personal development. I am also undecided with which field of psychotherapy I would like to pursue, whether it is psychodynamic or psychoanalytical therapy.

I have worked with a selection of charities including Cruse Bereavement Care, Age UK and the Whitechapel Mission. While at Cruse Bereavement Care, I spent over two years as one-on-one counsellor as well as eighteen months on their national helpline. I have continued to support the charity as a member of the fund-raising committee for the London boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham.

It is my belief that you never stop learning and continuing my personal development is important to me. I like to keep up to date with advancements and professional issues through reading, attending seminars and additional training.

I regularly write about complimentary therapies, you can keep informed with my newsletter or follow me on Twitter, Medium and Instagram. You can also contact me directly for information about working together.
