The following advice is to try and keep you safe and well.
- Never apply to skin neat, always dilute with a carrier oil
- Do not take internally
- Avoid using essential oils during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or on babies, children, elderly people unless you are a qualified Aromatherapist
- Do not use in epilepsy, high blood pressure, asthma, hayfever, allergic conditions or any contraindications
- Seek professional advice if your are taking medication (Medical Doctor)
- Before using essential oils, it is advisable to preform a skin test to check for sensitivity. Make up your blend and rub a little oil inside the wrist or elbow. Leave uncovered for up to 24 hours, then wash off
- Do not use essential oils under the influence of alcohol or drugs
The recommended safe quantity is 1 drop of essential oil to 5 mls of carrier oil/cream/bubble bath etc.
